Retaliation For Taking Leave

Take a protected leave and now you're on the wrong end of a performance review? Are you trying to take care of your newborn but work keeps Slacking you? Both of these situations arise frequently in the tech space. Contact me to understand how and why this practice can constitute unlawful retaliation or leave interference.

Pretextual Layoffs

More and more, layoffs are being used as a tool to terminate 'problematic' employees who have made internal complaints or exercised a protected right in the workplace. If you complained to HR about a workplace issue, and suddenly you've found yourself lumped into a strategic 'restructuring', your employer could be retaliating against you. Contact me to learn more about your options.
